SLX's carbon fiber blade has a wonderful drilling properties that is reinforced by Shimano Diaflash in the lower part of the butt. This is useful in the lighter models, especially when drilling large, powerful fish that test your gear. All models are equipped with Shimano Hardlite guides, which are light, strong and are perfect for nylon and braids. To further improve performance and complement the modern look, an ergonomic wheelchair in Custom VSS style blends perfectly into the forms of reel, while the spin rod uses a Custom ECS design with a carbon fiber locking collar.
