The new edition of the Daiwa Ballistic LT is lighter, stronger and smaller. The reel now has Daiwa's Zaion housing and a body made of A7075 aircraft aluminum. The new LT concept (Light & Tough) makes Daiwa's reels "cleaner" and much more stylish. This is the perfect reel for sea trout fishing or other fishing in salt water, as the reel with its saltwater resistant layers will last significantly longer.
