Collection: Spinnerbait rigs & spin spoons
A spinnerbait is a type of spinner. But the spoon (or spoons) does not rotate around the spinner's body but is mounted on a separate steel wire arm. A single hook is embedded in the body itself, like a jig head, and is provided with a skirt of silicone, deer or tinsel.
The rotating spoons and the vibrant skirt create large sound waves and reflexes under the surface - extremely attractive for both pike and perch. Unlike most other baits, the construction itself is ideal for fishing in stubble reed, nate and water lilies. The bait "cuts" through the vegetation and the single hook stick relatively rarely. Perfect for summer fishing! Although Spinnerbait is referred to as a summer work, the grazing type actually works great year -round.
Remember to make a definite bite straight up when it chops, then the fish is hooked much easier and better.
Spinnerbaits rigs & Blades
A spinnerbait rig is a pleasant accessory when you want to add the benefits of a spinnerbait to a jig. You attach the rig to the jig head with a hook or spring ring - simple and smooth. The rotating spoons create large sound waves and glittering reflexes under the surface.
A spinning spoon (blade) mounted on the jig is a bit discreet but also creates attractive reflexes and vibration. Perfect on the days when the pike are attracted by a little extra bling. Tip! Replace the paddle on your jig with a spinning spoon, this has proven to be really effective on pike!
