The popular W4 series spinning rods have now become even better, here in a multi (casting) version in the form of the Spin-T 2nd generation. To make the new generation even faster and more sensitive, Westin has upgraded with a higher quality of binder and carbon fiber from Torayca® in combination with a new construction of the blade, for better balance, higher strength and more sensitivity. It has also improved the achievable casting distance and feel throughout the rod. You can achieve fast, long casts with maintained precision and benefit from the blade's enormous power reserves during drilling. The rod has a medium/fast action that works best when casting long with a multi reel, making it ideal for large lakes, rivers and fishing along the coast for sea trout, salmon and sea bass. Westin has retained the classic and popular premium cork handle, but upgraded to tangle-free Seaguides® XQG/XOG guides and a rubberized Fuji® ACS reel seat for best performance in all situations.
