Aava Tiraphene rods are the result of over 40 years of experience and development in fishing rods. Aava was among the first to use graphite – the world’s strongest, thinnest and lightest material – in their rods. Now Aava is taking the next step by combining graphene with titanium.
By adding titanium as an extra layer to the carbon fiber structure of the rod, they have created an unbeatable combination of sensitivity and durability. The Tiraphene rods have a fast action but bend deeper than regular fast rods. Traditionally, fast rods are front-heavy and stiff at the base, but the Tiraphene structure gives longer casts, better feel for the bait and improved contact with the fish.
In addition, titanium increases the durability of the rod and enhances the properties of the graphite. For extra performance, the Tiraphene rods are equipped with durable and lightweight titanium guides.
