The Abu Garcia Veritas is a spinning rod designed for the serious casting angler who demands light weight, maximum sensitivity and precise performance. The lightweight and extremely responsive 30T Carbon blade offers impressive strength to weight ratio. Most models have a fast action that provides precise casting, effective bait guidance and secure hooking. The exception is the 1002M model, which has a slightly softer Moderate Fast action and is particularly well suited for longer casts and more responsive fishing.

The open reel seat improves both ergonomics and feel, providing better contact with the blade. The rods are equipped with Seaguide® stainless steel guides with XOG inserts that provide smooth line guidance and reduce the risk of tangles, especially when using braided line. The EVA handles provide a secure and comfortable grip, and the integrated hook holder makes it easy to attach bait during transport.
