In 1999, Balzer developed and launched the very first Diabolo rod series. The goal was to produce carbon rods for all types of fishing, and to do so with a top price-performance ratio. This goal has not changed to this day.

With the 12th(!) edition of the Diabolo series, the “golden circle” is now complete, and we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of this unique rod series. The combination of carbon fiber tape and the high-quality Stardust varnish, as well as varnished reel seats, give the rods a very exclusive finish. Fast, light IM-7 carbon fiber blanks, titanium SIC guides and ergonomic handles characterize the series.
