Balzer Flatfish Rig (The Perchman Rig)

The mega-successful Perchman Rig – now especially for flatfish fishing! The adjustable sled allows the height of the hook to be adjusted. The upper hook is baited with a whole worm, while the other is provided with a piece of worm. This creates an extreme lure effect for flatfish, as one worm is presented just above the bottom while the other drags behind and stirs up sediment.

Areas of use:
Fishing from an anchored boat: After casting, the rig is cranked in slowly with pauses.
Fishing from a drifting boat/cutter: The rig is easily dragged along the bottom.
