Shirasu Jerk Bait can be retrieved both jerkily (jerked) and with a steady retrieve. When jerking – i.e. jerkily retrieving – it breaks out to the side. When monotonously retrieving, it moves in S-curves through the water. Shirasu Jerk has a special feature: when you make a retrieve stop, it slowly sinks downwards with the side first. This flanking sinking seems to trigger an impulse in pike, as the attack often comes precisely in this phase. Walking depth: 8 cm: 1.1 m.
