The Exceler rod series is a true classic in Daiwa's predator and reel rod range. Each new generation is an opportunity to further develop Daiwa's solid know-how and adapt the products to today's modern bait fishing. The reel rod series covers virtually all important areas of use in freshwater predator fishing.

The Exceler rods build on Daiwa's proven HVF blades and MLX actions and are characterised by their fast response. This makes them particularly suitable for surface and lighter summer fishing where finesse and precision are essential. The two models designed for monofilament line are perfect for black bass fishing with techniques such as weightless, wacky, Carolina and Texas rigs.

The actions are very well suited for fishing for perch and zander in calmer waters and medium-sized rivers. Models with HMH action are developed for larger environments such as flowing rivers and larger dam and power plant lakes, where extra power and control are required.
