The Illex Pepper X5 S 205 UL Micro Jig Special is a new version of this extremely fine fishing rod for jigging. Compared to its predecessor, the rod has become even faster and lighter, maximizing fishing enjoyment even further. The rod features a solid carbon fiber tip and a progressive action, providing a phenomenal feel. You feel every rock, every obstacle, and above all, every gentle nibble.

The rod is primarily intended for fishing with mini-jigs and soft lures on light jig heads. However, it also performs exceptionally well for "power finesse" techniques using rigs such as Drop Shot, Neko Rig, Wacky Rig, or light Carolina Rigs. Furthermore, it's perfectly suited for small, slender minnows (small wobblers).

The Illex Pepper X5 S 205 UL Micro Jig Special features a high-quality, new X5 hook with pre-impregnated carbon. The carbon mats, laid in 3 different directions, and the patented Nano-Resin technology make the hook even lighter and give it high sensitivity and responsiveness. Despite this, it is strong enough to safely land larger fish.

Fuji Torzite Titanium K-rings have been chosen as the rod guides, which are very light and thin. This contributes to the rod's very low weight, while the rings are of very high quality. Thanks to their design, they reduce the risk of tangles when casting. The hard, very smooth inserts enable enormous casting distances thanks to less friction, and they protect the line for a longer lifespan.
