The Illex Squad Minnow 95 SP is a jerkbait that has all the features needed to trigger a bite. The fixed weights allow the bait to remain completely still during the reeling, which is often enough to entice a following fish to attack.
The bait can also be made to repeatedly make quick, jerky movements during reeling, making it possible to vary between a smooth "dog walking" movement and sudden twitches and quick evasive maneuvers. The fixed weights should also contribute to more precise and long casts, according to Illex.
