The Flatnose Shad can be rigged in many different ways to suit your fishing situation - either with a shallow rig, or a clip weight. It is also perfect to rig with a size 10/0 offset hook for those situations where the pike are hanging out in the vegetation.

Edvin Johansson, known from Team Galant, is a young fisherman and bait builder with a great passion for pike fishing. The Flatnose Shad is his first soft bait and it is a first-class pike snack - the rather modest size combined with the large paddle and wide profile creates a small bait that still makes a lot of noise in the water and is easy for the pike to spot.
