This braided leader material is incredibly strong and very abrasion-resistant, making it an excellent choice for a shock leader or snag leader.

It is thin in relation to its breaking strength and, in addition to being strong, it is also supple enough to cast very well when used as a shock leader, for example during spod fishing. It is more buoyant than the sinking Arma-Kord Sinking version that we also offer, and in some situations this makes it more suitable as a snag leader – for example when fishing over tree stumps or similar obstacles near the bottom, where you don't want the material to sink too deep among them.

It is available in a low-visibility brown colour and in breaking strengths of 30 lb or 50 lb. For even more extreme fishing in Europe, an XT version with 85 lb breaking strength is also available.

Each spool contains 20 m of Arma-Kord.
