These swivels feature one extra-large round eye and one standard-sized eye, and like all our swivels, they come from the best Japanese manufacturers and feature our trademark anti-glint matt grey finish.

They have three main uses. Firstly, they allow for very free-running rigs when used as a replacement for the swivels found at the top of our leads. They were originally designed as part of our Running Rig Kits, but after countless requests, we simply had to add them to the range.

The second obvious use is for helicopter rigs. The large eye will rotate better if a large bead is used, whereas a smaller swivel would ‘chatter’ around the circumference of the larger bead. In other words, the large eye slides around it without resistance.

They can also be used at the top of a marker float boom – the large eye allows the line to run through more freely than with a standard swivel.
