Korda COG (Centre Of Gravity) leads are designed to be fished in a specific way, so that a hooked fish feels as much of the lead's weight as possible as quickly as possible when it moves. This is precisely why they are called Centre Of Gravity leads.

For the system to work effectively, the leads must be used with Centre Of Gravity System booms. The COG leads are designed to be used with a Lead Clip and a boom made of spliced leadcore. At one end of the boom is a swivel that connects to the mainline and fits into the front part of the Lead Clip.

At the other end there is a specially designed swivel where the lower eye has been removed, allowing the cylindrical part to fit perfectly into the rubber bushing in the center of the COG lead. The eye of the swivel also contains a Kwik Link, making it easy to quickly attach the leader.

Once a fish has been hooked, the Lead Clip system works as usual, making this a completely safe rig solution. The Centre Of Gravity systems are available in several different lengths to suit the size and shape of the COG lead you are using. To achieve a neat, effective, and tangle-free presentation, it is important to choose the correct system according to the marking on the packaging.
