As the name implies, this lead is designed for long casts. Its front-heavy shape makes it very stable in the air and also provides excellent hooking efficiency.

This is undoubtedly Danny's favorite type of lead, and he says this about it:

"I love fishing at long range in open water and building up a baited area, with all three rods fishing just a few feet apart. The front-heavy shape of this lead makes it fly straight as an arrow – it goes exactly where you want it. For this type of fishing, I can't imagine using anything else!"
