The Klor hook was designed and developed by Danny Fairbrass to be an aggressive, strong, and fast-turning hook with outstanding hooking properties for a variety of rigs. It is incredibly strong and proven capable of handling big carp in extreme conditions, both at home and abroad.

The Klor has a very aggressive shape (even more pronounced than our Kurv Shank), with the point in line with the eye, allowing it to turn quickly and take hold in the carp's mouth. It is suitable for all types of rigs, including the Combi Rig and Spinner Rig, and works equally well with bottom baits, pop-ups, and wafters.

The point is long, extremely sharp, and slightly inturned, which reduces the risk of it being damaged by unwanted species like crayfish and small fish moving around the bait on the bottom – especially when fishing over gravel.

The wire is heavy-gauge, making it a very strong hook that can be used in weedy or snaggy waters, even with braided line, without the risk of it straightening. During testing, Danny landed carp over 60 lb from wild, snag-filled French waters. Despite the heavy-gauge wire, the point remains very sharp, and the small barb ensures the hook stays put once it has penetrated.
