Crimping is an excellent way to create neat and strong connections, especially when using stiffer and/or thicker materials that can be difficult to knot effectively. Additionally, it allows you to get exactly the right length for your leader every time, which is particularly useful for things like chod rigs.

Our Krimp Tools are available in two sizes – a larger and a mini version. Both are specifically designed for use with the three sizes of Krimp that we sell. The jaw is marked with XS, S, and L to indicate which slot should be used for each respective size.

As long as the Krimps are matched with the correct diameter of leader material, our Krimp Tools make it possible to create perfect connections every time. They are made of soft steel and have rubberized handles that provide a good grip and ensure the correct pressure is applied during crimping. In addition, there is an integrated line cutter in the jaw, which is practical for rig building.

The Mini Krimp Tool is very compact and easily fits into your Tackle Box or similar, yet still provides sufficient leverage to create a perfectly crimped connection every time. The larger version is suitable for those who prefer a more ergonomic and easier-to-handle tool. Both are very robust and allow you to crimp effectively again and again.

All our Krimps are sold separately and are available in sizes 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.7 mm, which are compatible with all versions of our Boom Hooklink material. Chod Krimps are available in 0.5 mm and 0.6 mm and are compatible with our Mouth Trap Hooklink.
