Crimping is an excellent way to create neat and strong connections, especially when using stiffer and/or thicker materials that can be difficult to tie effectively. Additionally, it allows you to get exactly the right leader length every time, which is particularly useful for chod rigs, for example.

These double-barrelled Krimps are designed for use with a range of different leader materials and, together with our Krimp Tool, provide a connection you can rely on every time. It is important to choose the right size Krimp for your leader material – if it's too large, there's a risk of it slipping. The Small 0.6 mm is perfect for materials like Mouth Trap, the 25 lb version of Boom, or stiff coated braids such as Hybrid.

The Large 0.7 mm is intended for really thick materials, such as 35 lb Boom or very coarse nylon. The latest addition to the range, the X-Small 0.5 mm, is perfect for 15 lb and 20 lb Boom or other leader materials suitable for crimping (must have very low or no stretch) and with a diameter between 0.40 mm and 0.50 mm.

They come in a practical small box with a sliding lid that reduces the risk of spillage, and each pack contains 50 Krimps.
