The Heli-Safe system is an excellent choice for all types of helicopter rigs, whether you're fishing with a traditional rig setup or a chod rig. Now, pre-tied leaders are also available, ready to use straight out of the package. These 50 cm long leaders are made from the new Tight Weave Kable Leadcore, providing a strong and supple construction.

The 50 cm length is ideal for keeping everything tight to the bottom, while also protecting the fish from the line during a fight. It's also very suitable for long-distance casting. The construction has excellent anti-tangle properties and is also very fish-safe thanks to the integrated Mini Heli-Safe system – a compact version of the original – which ensures the lead detaches when needed.

The leader is also equipped with the No-Trace Safety System, which allows the rig to detach from the leader if the main line breaks. This way, the fish can easily free itself. Each pack also includes two extra No-Trace Beads (which can also be purchased separately if needed).

The upper rubber part of the No-Trace system can be adjusted depending on bottom conditions – placed close to the lead when fishing over clean bottom, or moved up along the leader when fishing over vegetation or debris, especially when using a chod rig.

The Mini Heli-Safe system can be adapted to the situation:

• With the standard spring, the lead detaches with minimal pressure, which is ideal in dense vegetation.
• The included red spring (2 pcs) is used in waters with fewer obstacles, where you only want the lead to detach if it gets snagged.

There is also the option to attach an included collar (2 pcs), which prevents the lead from detaching at all – while the No-Trace system still ensures the fish's safety in case of line breakage.

A size 11 QC Ring Swivel makes changing rigs quick and easy, and the spliced loop at one end allows for easy attachment to the main line, with loop-to-loop being the simplest option.

Kable Heli-Safe Leadcore Leaders are available in Gravel Brown and Weed/Silt colors. Each pack contains two leaders plus:
