One of the main principles behind the spinner rig – as the name suggests – is that the hook should be able to spin freely and get a secure hold in the carp's mouth. The freer it can rotate, the greater the chance of a good hook hold, and that is precisely what the PTFE Spinner Swivel achieves.

This version is the perfect choice for those who want fewer metal components on their spinner rigs. It is less conspicuous as it lacks a metal ring as part of the swivel.

This size 11 swivel is specially designed for use with this rig and can be used with various types of hooklink materials. As with the standard version, the hook can be easily mounted or removed from the "hook" at one end, which is then covered with a Kicker to keep everything securely in place. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid material, making it perfect as a coating on the swivel as it reduces friction between the barrel and the eye.

The XX version is specifically designed for use with larger hook sizes such as sizes 1 and 2. They have a thicker wire diameter than the original version and should be used with the new XL Kickers, which sit snugly over the bend and the larger hook eye.
