The Quick Release Lead Clip is designed for situations where the lead needs to be released immediately when a fish is hooked, for example when fishing in weedy or rocky lakes, and this is crucial to give you the best possible chance of landing the fish.

The plastic-reinforced arm is completely smooth to facilitate release, and the back of the clip's body has specially designed grooves that prevent the tail rubber from gripping too tightly, allowing it to detach with minimal effort.

Despite this, the Quick Release Lead Clip is designed so that heavy leads can still be cast long distances without the risk of them detaching during the cast.
