This Shrink Tube can be used to finish rigs and increase their hooking effect by bending the leader inwards and helping the hook to turn once it's in the carp's mouth. It's also perfect for covering and securing quick-change swivels on all parts of your final tackle.

Several rigs use Shrink Tube, with line aligner/kicker rigs being the most popular. By using shrink tube as a kicker, there's no limit to how far you can extend the hook shank, which is ideal for anglers who prefer a longer curved kicker.

The shrink tube is stiff enough to maintain its shape, but straightens out when a fish bites, so no damage occurs – unlike a hook with an already bent shape or long curve.

Our shrink tube is available in various sizes and colors to suit every angler's needs. Weed, Clay, Silt & Gravel are available in Small 1.2 mm and Medium 1.6 mm, covering most hook sizes and swivels, and Weed is also available in XL for those who need a larger diameter. Our Clear version is available in finer diameters of 1.0 mm as well as 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm.
