The neoprene-based Tip Safe protectors are designed to protect your rod during transport. Once you have separated the rod and folded it in half, the tip protector is snugly pulled over the two ferrule ends to prevent scratches and damage, while also keeping them clean and protecting against mud and dirt during movement around the lake.

In addition to cushioning impacts to the ferrule ends, the neoprene material is very elastic, meaning that one size fits all rods without slipping off, and holds the two sections tightly together. Besides the tip protector, another neoprene sleeve is included, placed at the other end of the rod to hold the butt end and rod tip together. This is also elastic to fit all rods and is secured in place with an adhesive strap.
