Detector Salt is developed and tested for the most advanced ultralight spinning techniques in saltwater, but the rod's characteristics make it just as effective for ultralight fishing in freshwater. Detector Salt performs excellently from shore when fishing with small spoons, spinners, micro jigs and soft baits.

The rod is built with a high-performance carbon fiber blade made from a blend of two different IM7 (30T) fibers. The moderately fast action provides exactly the sensitivity and strength that the ultralight angler expects. The series has a split high-density EVA handle with Japanese extensions and a Seaguide XMS reel seat, which provides a light and comfortable feel while fishing. The line guidance is through Fuji guides, adapted for braided lines, which guarantees a first-class fishing experience.
