The new Shimano Curado BFS (Bait Finesse System) expands the curado range of low profile rolls while the fine fishing is redefined for tournament fish.
Inspired by the Japanese domestic market (JDM), the new Curado BFS uses an ultra -light foundation designed for ropes with thinner diameter to allow anglers to throw light baits more effectively than traditional low profile models.
Shimano Curado BFS contains Shimanos Finesse Tune Brake (FTB) system to reduce the weight of the coil by moving the brake unit from the coil to the paling side plate. The result: The coil takes minimal power to turn and allow anglers to effectively throw really light bait.
Unlike traditional magnetic braking systems that maintain the same move on the coil throughout the throw, the Shimanos FTB utilizes the centrifugal force and the magnetic brakes automatically adapt to slow down the coil only when braking is needed. Fully adjustable, anglers can fine -tune FTB with the external steering wheel or by adding or removing individual magnets as needed.
