Shimano Curado DC is a reel that fits well in the hand and is optimal for all perch fishing for rods from 6 feet and up, it is also suitable for downsize fishing for pike. Curado DC is available in both right and left hand versions and two variants of gear ratio HG (Hight Gear) 7.4:1 and normal 6.2:1.

DC stands for Digital Control and is a microprocessor in the reel that senses and slows the reel up to 1000 times per second. The DC function means that you almost don't have to think when casting and be afraid of getting a tip-over. The Curado DC reel has several setting options, including what type of line you are fishing with braided line, mono or fluorocarbon line and a mode where you can cast in strong headwinds.
