Product description
The Shimano Curado DC is a reel that fits comfortably in hand and is optimal for all perch fishing with rods from 6 feet and up. It is also suitable for downsizing pike fishing. The Curado DC is available in both right and left-hand retrieve and two gear ratio variants: HG (High Gear) 7.4:1 and normal 6.2:1.
DC stands for Digital Control and is a microprocessor in the reel that senses and brakes the reel up to 1000 times per second. The DC function means you barely have to think when casting and worry about backlashes. The Curado DC reel has several setting options, including the type of line you are fishing with – braided, mono, or fluorocarbon line – as well as a mode for casting in strong headwinds.
