The body is both light and strong, made from Shimano's original "CI4+" material reinforced with carbon fiber. Micromodule Gear II provides a silky smooth feel during retrieve, while the SilentDrive system eliminates even the slightest vibration and rattle. The Rigid Support Drag system responds smoothly to the powerful and jerky runs of a squid. The Sephia XR is also equipped with a Long Stroke Spool to give you the best possible casting distance.
