Shimano Torium HGA reels are designed to be compact, robust and powerful conventional saltwater reels with excellent casting ability and the durability that saltwater anglers expect.

- Compact design with S-Compact Body – Provides power, stiffness and durability. The S-Concept Body design makes the reel feel one size smaller in the hand, while offering outstanding stability. The B-side side plate (the A-side contains the crank, drag adjustment and cast control knob) is a single piece, contributing to both stiffness and comfortable handling.

- EI coating for enhanced corrosion protection – A second layer of coating is applied after the anodizing process. The treatment penetrates microscopic surface imperfections, preventing salt from adhering and stopping corrosion before it can even begin.

- Cross Carbon drag brake – Provides a smoother and more durable braking action. The perfect material for high brake settings, with smooth and consistent performance over time.
