Despite its impressive strength, the S III OS is a lightweight and well-balanced spinning reel. The housing, spool, and handle are made of lightweight aluminum, providing low weight without compromising durability. The reel is equipped with 7+1 stainless steel ball bearings for a smooth and even retrieve, as well as a screwed-in aluminum handle that provides stable and play-free power transmission.
