These heavy-duty pliers in drop forged steel with Teflon-treated jaws are designed for tough conditions, both in fresh and salt water. The SaltShield96 treatment provides extra resistance to rust, making them well suited for fishing in the archipelago and the sea.

The replaceable tungsten steel blades cut cleanly through braided line, fluorocarbon and nylon, and extra blades are included in the package. The comfortable, non-slip PP+TPR handles together with an external spring make it easy to use the pliers with one hand, even when standing and fishing or sitting in a boat.

In addition to cutting lines, the pliers can crimp sinkers and sleeves, open split rings, remove hooks, stretch knots through the hook hole and fine-tune your lures. A loop in the handle makes it easy to attach a line or leash so the pliers are always where you need them.
