W10 Coastal Braid has been developed for sea trout and saltwater fishermen who are looking for the ultimate braid line. Our innovative construction produces a line that combines maximum strength and abrasion resistance with a super -smooth surface.

The line is designed by Japanese Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene (UHMPE) Premium fibers and the use of a 13x (12+1) design with 12 fibers woven around a central core to get a superb round line with improved strength in comparison with 8-threaded braids.

W10 Coastal Braid has a '' Advanced Ultra High Pic '' construction with 56 weaving per inch to get a smoother surface and higher abrasion resistance. The denser weaving through '' Advanced Ultra High Pic '' also provides a smooth surface for longer, more precise throws.

Sea trout and saltwater fishermen require a rope with extra stiffness to avoid wind knots that are often caused by repeated throws in harsh winds. To achieve this, W10 Coastal has a double Dura-Coating that gives the line more stiffness. The process of Dura-Coating Gel gives the braid line a smoother, hydrophobic surface, which reduces the absorption of water and reduces friction.

To achieve maximum color stability, W10 Braid is soaked in color tanks before it is hardened in an oven to 'bake in' the pigments before finally sealed with a double gel-coat for improved life.
