Equipped with spiral wrap guides, the rod offers improved stability, increased power and superior control both during the rigging and the actual fishing. The guides are precisely positioned, with the second guide slightly angled in the opposite direction to counteract torque in the blade under load – a crucial design feature to prevent the blade from twisting. The first guide is also raised to prevent the line from cutting into the front handle or rubbing against the fingers during a fight.

The EVA handles are ergonomically designed to provide a secure grip while protecting the blade when placed in a rod holder, both during transport and fishing. The rear handle is shaped to rest securely against the edge of the rod holder, and together with the rubberized cross butt, the rod remains stable and steady in place.
